User Account Deletion

At Bechna, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page outlines the process for deleting your user account and associated data from our platform.

Account Deletion Process

To request deletion of your Bechna account, please send an email to support@hexnine.com with the following information:

• Store Name
• Store URL
• Store Admin Name
• Store Admin Email Address
• Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"

Our team will process your request offline and send you a confirmation once the deletion is complete. Please allow 3-5 business days for your request to be processed.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you delete your Bechna account:

• Your account will be deactivated immediately and no longer accessible
• Your personal information (name, email, phone, etc.) will be deleted from our active databases
• Any active subscriptions will be canceled without refund for the current billing period
• Your store and all associated data will be removed from public view
• Product listings, order history, and customer data associated with your store will be deleted

Data Retention After Deletion

While most of your data will be deleted immediately, some information may be retained:

• Certain data may be retained in backup systems for up to 30 days
• Information necessary for legal compliance (such as transaction records for tax purposes) may be retained for the legally required period
• Anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you may be retained for analytics purposes

Important Considerations Before Deletion

Before requesting account deletion, please consider:

• Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
• You may want to export or back up any important data from your store before deletion
• If you have active customers or orders, consider notifying them before closing your store
• Any custom domain connections will need to be reconfigured if you decide to use a different service

Your Rights Under Privacy Laws

Depending on your location, you may have specific rights regarding your personal data under laws such as the GDPR (European Union), CCPA (California), or other regional privacy regulations. These rights may include:

• The right to access your personal data
• The right to correct inaccurate data
• The right to restrict or object to processing
